Every patient is unique. Our specialty programs go beyond standard hospice care to address the full picture of comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients and families.
At Bristol Hospice, we believe great care goes beyond the basics. Our specialty programs are designed to support the whole patient and the people who love them. Learn more about each program below.
Specialty Program
Bright Moments
Innovative care for patients affected by dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
Bright Moments is a program of care specifically designed for hospice patients with end-stage dementia. It is based on the belief that more can be done for and with dementia patients to generate positive outcomes. Knowing that family members and caregivers often struggle with the challenges of late-stage dementia, Bristol Hospice created Bright Moments to support patients, families, staff, and physicians.
Compassionate end-of-day rituals to support comfort and restful sleep.
Sweet Dreams is based on the belief that a compassionate presence and a care plan devoted to end-of-day sleep rituals can result in enhanced patient satisfaction. The service is an included part of the hospice benefit and is provided in the hours leading up to bedtime, creating a nurturing and soothing environment for your loved one.
Serving those who served. Dignified end-of-life care for America’s Veterans.
America’s Veterans have done everything asked of them in their mission to serve our country. It is a priority of the We Honor Veterans program to ensure that all Veterans receive compassionate, quality care at the end of life — care that acknowledges their service, addresses their unique needs, and honors their sacrifice with the dignity they deserve.
Dedicated support for patients living with COPD and chronic respiratory conditions.
Living with COPD or chronic respiratory conditions can be overwhelming. Flare-ups, hospitalizations, and the daily struggle to breathe impact both patients and families. Bristol Hospice created Breathe Easy as a dedicated program providing extra support, comfort, and peace of mind for patients and the people who care for them.
