Bristol Hospice-California, LLC announces Dr. David Casarett, M.D. presenting “Palliative Care – Comprehensive Longitudinal Advanced Illness Management” on Tuesday, July 16 at the Mercy Medical Pavillion in Merced, CA. David Casarett, M.D., MA, is the Director of Hospice & Palliative Care at the University of Pennsylvania and Health System Associate Professor of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. The lecture will summarize, from an evidence-based perspective: The importance of early initiation of Palliative Care.
Bristol Hospice UT sponsors Special “Festival of Trees” event in coordination with Intermountain Health Cares Primary Childrens Medical Center. Bristol Salt Lake team donated a brilliant and festive tree in honor of one of their own RN case managers, Wendy Armstrong RN who passed away this past year. Each of the staff were involved in decorating and trimming the tree.
BRISTOL HOSPICE HAWAII organized and sponsored the “CELEBRATION OF LIFE” This Event took place at the Oahu Veterans Center, 1298 Kukila Street, Honolulu from 11:00 AM- 12:30 PM.
Bristol Hospice Sacramento Pinning Ceremonies held at community centers, Contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities with our Enlisted Servicemen Volunteers and Miss Placer County.
Bristol Hospice-UT organized and sponsored the 2nd Annual Veterans day program! This patriotic event was well attended by many Veterans and included Patriotic Singers, Bagpipes, and Veterans speaking about there honorary military service in wartime. This event was held at the Sandy Senior Center in SALT LAKE CITY.

Bristol Hospice-California, sponsored SPURS AND STILLETTOS GALA 2011” in support of Mercy Hospital Stroke Treatment. Event took place at the Merced College LAC Ampitheatre, There were plenty of Cocktails and Entertainment as well as Dinner and a live auction. There was Dancing until Midnight with Donnie and the Wayrads. The Elegant Western Attire of our Bristol Hospice Staff was admired by all.
Grand Opening Event Bristol Hospice- Northern Utah Alternate Site. Addresses given by Lt. Governor Greg Bell and Mayor Richard Harris. The Event enjoyed wonderful community support and was well attended.
